Scuba Instructors

Wyatt Foster is a PADI Master Instructor, Master Scuba Diver Trainer and TDI/SDI Instructor Trainer with over 30 years of diving experience and over 25 years of teaching experience.  Wyatt holds Instructor ratings for PADI, SDI, TDI,  NASDS, and NASE. He teaches over 20 Specialty classes and is the Director of Scuba Training at SeaVentures, assuring the same quality instruction to all SeaVentures customers. His favorite places to dive include Cocos Island, Costa Rica and Papua New Guinea.

Beverly Foster is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, SDI Instructor and Red Cross Water Safety Swim Instructor. She began her diving experiences in 1986 in the caverns and caves of Central Florida. Since then she has traveled to some of the most exotic destinations of the world. Papua New Guinea, Cocos Island, Fiji, Cozumel, Palau, and Bonaire are some of the places Bev likes to hang out! She also handles individual and group travel arrangements and manages the daily office activities.

Brad Hunter is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer who came to Seaventures in March of 2008 after spending a year in the Bahamas’ working in the live aboard industry. He brings many years of Dive and Instruction Experience to his classes and enjoys getting back in the water on Keys trips every chance he can get! Brad is a patient and thorough instructor, in addition to being the Operations Manager at SeaVentures.  Brad & his wife, Karen, have relocated to the Roswell area and and enjoy meeting new people. 

Wayne Allen is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and can be found at the store each day! He has experience diving in cooler conditions as a recovery diver in Lake Winnipesaukee, NH  but we warm him up on trips the the Florida Keys! In addition to teaching, working in the store and running trips, Wayne and his wife, Amy have a young son, Garrett and live in Winder, GA.

Claude Smith is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and a familiar face on our Keys trips. Claude began his diving with Seaventures in 2004 and has become a great addition to our team. He is extremely interested in wreck diving, but enjoys the time he gets to spend teaching students.

Chris Kelco

Chris Kelco is a Certified Master Repair Technician an SDI Instructor/PADI Assistant Instructor with numerous other certifications.  Chris has worked with the SeaVentures team off and on since 2003 as he alternates between Atlanta and working as a commercial diver and now as a contract project manager for different oil companies world-wide.  Formerly a firefighter for the cities of Roswell and Alpharetta as well as a public safety diver and Emergency Medical Technician, Chris can also handle any equipment emergency!

Steve Schaff is is an Advanced Open Water Diver who can be found on the retail floor and being a big help on Drive & Dives. He is also one of our on-staff Eagle Scouts who loves working with the SeaVentures Boy Scout program.

Rachel Sedlak is an Advanced Open Water Diver and helps at SeaVentures with both the Swim Registration Counter and the Scuba Sales Floor. She enjoys art, photography, traveling, backpacking and helping those in need

Conrad Rucker is a PADI Course Director, Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, DAN Instructor Trainer and Handicap Scuba Instructor. Conrad has worn many hats...as a former NFL Tight End for Houston & Tampa Bay, Captain/Pilot in the USMC, Delta Airlines Employee...but we think he likes his dive hat the best! His wife, Cecelia, is also a PADI Instructor and their favorite place to dive is Cozumel.

Lori Pocock is a PADI Course Director and DAN Instructor Trainer. Lori teaches over 26 PADI specialties as well as Emergency First Response. Her favorite type of diving is wreck and deep diving in pretty blue water! Her favorite dive sites are West Palm Beach, Turks & Caicos, and Truk Lagoon but her dry suit keeps her diving in almost any condition!

Becky Greene is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. She felt the urge for more water time and took off for adventure in the Keys for a while but is back in Atlanta again. You will see Becky teaching, running trips to the Keys, and sharing her passion for the marine environment whenever she gets the chance!

Shawn Jeffers is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. He did his first resort dive in Barbados and found his second love (his first being his beautiful wife, Stephanie!). Since then, Shawn has taken many specialty classes, dabbled in underwater video and been diving in Turks & Caicos, Cozumel, Belize, and the Florida Keys. 

Stuart Jackson is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Stu enjoys international travel, and his favorite dive destination is the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. He is also practicing underwater photography and fish identification which helps with his volunteer efforts at the GA Aquarium.

Jeff Jones is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Jeff is passionate about conservation of our water resources and the marine environment. Jeff loves to teach deep and wreck diving but there’s nothing that makes him happier than witnessing the excitement of a student diver after his/her first open water dive.  He has been fortunate enough to dive in many parts of the world but his favorites include Belize, the Bay Islands of Honduras, Tahiti, and Niihau, Hawaii. But, Jeff will go anywhere where the water is warm, the visibility is good and there is abundant marine life.

Capt. Eric Langley Jr is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Emergency First Response Instructor, USCG Master, and Georgia Aquarium Volunteer Diver. His favorite aquatic animal is the Beluga Whale. Spent sometime working with Norwegian Cruise Line on their Private Island in The Bahamas but is back in Atlanta. You’ll find Eric teaching classes and helping out in the shop.

Kari Gloppen is an PADI/SDI Open Water Instructor who learned all about diving with SeaVentures. She loves diving in tropical waters where she can see an abundance of marine life. Her favorite encounter underwater was being able to see loggerhead turtles close up. Kari works full time for the CDC in adolescent health promotion but loves teaching and diving in her spare time.

Chandler Getz is a PADI Divemaster and EMT-I. He is a student at UGA majoring in Biology, with minor in Spanish and plans to attend medical school this fall. During school breaks you can find him helping in the store, doing scuba refreshers or introducing scuba to the camp kids!

Fred Radford is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and an Emergency First Responder Instructor Trainer.  He started teaching SCUBA in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Northern California in 1993, before coming to the east coast.  His diverse interests include technology, sociology and photography and it shows as he is available to teach over 30 different classes.  You will see Fred all over...teaching, leading trips and working in the store. Fred also has a background in Information Technology and helps keep the Seaventures computers humming along!

 

Joel and Terri Frazier took up SCUBA in the mid-eighties and earned their various instructor ratings together in the nineties. They love to teach together and are very enthusiastic promoters of SCUBA and their favorite destinations, Bonaire and Galapagos. Having just built a house in Bonaire, it is hard to find them in the states anymore!!!

 

Bill Muir is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. He has been diving since 1993 and teaching scuba since 1996. He teaches over 20 specialties. Bill is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and resides in West Palm Beach Florida where he enjoys spending his time diving and playing golf. His favorite place to dive is Andros Island, Bahamas because of its wide variety of sites, depths and marine life to see. Bill is the SeaVentures South East Florida Dive Connection.
