AQUAMISSIONS AT SEAVENTURES


WHAT IS IT?
When you get right down to it - the SeaVentures PADI Seal Team program is just plain cool! Designed for young divers (kids eight and older), this exciting new program is built around action-packed AquaMissions!
What's an AquaMission? It's an underwater pool adventure where kids learn scuba activities.

Take AquaMissions 1-5: for example, here kids learn all of the basic SCUBA skills while playing underwater games. Have YOU ever breathed underwater? Or AquaMission: Snapshot Specialist, this is where PADI Seal Team members take pictures of each other scuba diving.


Supported by a video, manual and logbook, the PADI Seal Team program is broken into two parts. Part one, AquaMissions 1 - 5, teaches kids the basics of diving - things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids can move on to part two, The Master Seal Team, where they can participate in Specialty Aquamissions. After completing part one, kids will receive an official PADI Seal Team Member certification card!


*Minimum age is 8 years old. Kids must be able to swim on their own, 4 laps in the pool.
 

WHEN IS IT?
The program is underway! Check the dive shop for dates. Part one fun happens over three sessions at SeaVentures.  Kids must be present at all three sessions to complete the certification.


WHAT DO I NEED?

  1. First thing first- Let's make sure you love it! Call today to set up a $39 Discover Scuba Sesson to learn a little bit about SCUBA as well as try it out in the pool! (Pre-requisite to Seal Team)
  2. Sign Up before you leave your Discover Scuba! The Seal Team course cost is $199.00. Everything is included in the program:*
    Seal Team Crew Pack with activity book, video, and logbook

    • Use of all SCUBA equipment while in the program

    • Use of mask, fins and snorkel (if you don't have your own)

    • Instructor and Pool time

The Master Seal Team offers ten different Specialty Aquamissions over five sessions.  Pay by the mission or get a discount by signing up for all 10!
